Sample a premium cheeseboard selection of NZ's finest cheeses, and visit renowned BeesOnline Honey Centre, while taking in a leisurely Half Day West Auckland Wine Tour. Three premium Auckland winery tastings accompanied by fine cheeses from famous NZ producers such as Kapiti, Puhoi and Whitestone. Explore NZ's native floral honeys with tastings at BeesOnline's rural complex. Also, honey-based cosmetics, gifts and gourmet items. Included - a superb country Café lunch with wine, and spectacular 'black sand' West Coast beach views.
Food & Wine Lovers Tour

Treat your tastebuds to a fantastic day, visiting and sampling at Auckland's exclusive food and wine specialty outlets, with opportunities to purchase. All inclusive price covers food, entry fees, wine and food tastings plus a la carte café lunch with wine, plus complimentary mineral water and goodies bag per person. No added fees or costs.
Start at Sanford's Seafood Market (fresh local seafood, sushi, deli).
Then Sabato Fine Foods (sample and browse Italian, Spanish and local gourmet goods). After that, a short drive to a boutique food quarter in Elliott Street, to visit and sample at Kapiti Cheeses and Ice Creams, plus Hand Made NZ fine Chocolates, Sushi Bar, Bistro quarter, and a Designer Florist.
Then a short 30 minute ride to historic rural Kumeu winery region for two winery tastings with a NZ Fine Cheese Platter, and a Vineyard Restaurant Lunchwith Wine, coffee etc.
Visit BeesOnline Honey Centre for honey tastings, or view the scenic Black Sand beach at Muriwai.
North Auckland Matakana Day Tour
9.30 am - 3.30 pm approx. Minimum two persons.
A day tour to one of Auckland's boutique wine regions, including fantastic wine, food and stunning scenery. Visit three selected wineries from Matakana wine region, 50 minutes from downtown Auckland. Includes morning tea/coffee in historic Puhoi, and a superb Vineyard Restaurant lunch.
After lunch, enjoy the option of Honey Centre tastings or Morris & James pottery and ceramics. All inclusive price covers lunch, entry fees, wine tastings, plus detailed tasting notes and complimentary mineral water.
The Waiheke Gold - Day Tour - NZ’s most prestigious boutique wine region. 9.30 am - 4.45 pm (2 person minimum)
Very, very exclusive small number tours, for the truly discerning NZ red wine fan. Maximum of only 4 persons (but larger private groups by arrangement).

9.30 am you meet Phil at the Auckland City Ferry Terminal, where you receive a welcome pack of winery guide book, mineral water, tasting notes and full itinerary. Relax and enjoy tea/coffee/cold drink on the 40-minute Waiheke 'Quick Cat' Ferry, as you journey across Auckland's spectacular Waitemata Harbour.
Once at the Island, journey with Phil to taste wines at three premium boutique Waiheke vineyards, plus an olive oil tasting. Enjoy a relaxed open menu 2-course lunch at renowned 5-Star Waiheke restaurant. Soak in the stunning coastal scenery and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on New Zealand's own Treasure Island of wine and food. Finally catch the 4.00 p.m. ferry for a leisurely trip back to the mainland. |
